Be a LOUD person, you'll like it
It is so incredibly tiresome to see people not be able to muster enough intestinal fortitude to sign their name to a posting.
What is surprising, however, is that many feel that merely reading this website or occasionally making their voice heard via clicking ''submit'' versus standing in front of a ballot or attending a city council meeting entitles them to speak with some expertise on matters of which they really are ill-informed or ignorant at best.
Regarding the issues in the city, well, some people just like the sound of their own voices while they are complaining. If they were serious about accomplishing goals or tasks for the good of the city they would be proactive instead of reactive. And as far as that goes, our phone has not been ringing with any suggestions regarding road needs or signage within the city since this issue first came to light. So how does Ms/Mr Anonymous want it? Because you cannot have it both ways.
For those of you who think this is a case of ''stand by your man.'' Well, think again. Take a look back at previous postings, you'll see that I was active on this message board long before Mr. Horn ever became a council member. I will continue to be.
I issue a challenge to all of you Anonymous posters. Come out from behind your ''cloak of invisibility.''
Be a loud person. Or don't say it at all.
