The pool should be maintained and open and should have been ever since we started paying HOA dues that are supposed to maintain our community.  We should not have to pay anything more because our dues have not been used for what they should have been used for the entire time that these areas have been dilapidating.

 

Maybe the new HOA management company will be able to appropriate funds more efficiently.

Also, what about a possible community effort, block party style, to fix these areas ourselves.  The pool needs some real expertise but the tennis courts... concrete is not that difficult to repair and paint.
