How about a sign that said:

No door to door sales, unless it's for school, or the Scouts.

Also, a better displayed Neighborhood Watch sign, it blends in.

I am so tired of home improvement, Verizon, Commerence Energy and yes even Church groups trying to convert me and my family! I have become a extremely rude home owner to these people. I don't know about the rest of the neighborhood but if I wanted those services I'd look in the yellow pages and call for myself. I have never had a boy scout/ girl scout knock on my door so that is really not an issue. I say we poll the entire neighborhood  about signs out front. In the mean time, solicitors be ware!
