Call to Order at 7:04 P.M.

d. 50/50 Tickets ($1 each or six for $5)
e. Volunteer Sign-up sheets (Refreshments, Landscape Project and Newsletter)
f. Appointment of third member of the question review committee
a. Annie Greenfeld-Wisner, Gavin McKiernan and Katie Picket were selected.

Board Member Role Call:
?• Present: Graeber, Greenwood, Greenfeld-Wisner, Hill, McKiernan, Risch, Vanderpas and Tolkoff.
?• Absent: Norvell, Daniels and Haas.

Approval of Minutes: M/S/C Approval of Minutes - January 9, 2006.

Input to the Board from Members (Residents, Associates, Businesses) in Good Standing
Wrigley Signs missing at Daisy and PCH, as well as Warlow and Maine.

Community Planner Comments ?– Steve Gerhadt, 570-6288 gave the report.
The hearing for 1925 Pacific Avenue has been postponed.

Public Safety Update - Noor Ismail gave the report.
The West Division meeting will be February 27th at 6:00 P.M.
She also distributed the monthly crime statistic and comparison.

Treasurer?’s Report - Jill Hill presented the budget report.
?• The balance as of 1/9/06 $ 5,889.76
?• The restricted balance $ 2,090.29
?• The unrestricted $ 3,982.97
?• Total Income $ 207.50
?• Total Expenses $ 336.00

Membership Report- Nancy Risch gave the report.
Maria Norvell is the winner of the membership contest for signing up five new members. The prize is a dinner at Buono?’s restaurant.
There are 145 members.

Council Comments
6th District ?–
It was reported that the Geophysical Study testing is being revised. Their number is (562) 427-7874. Twenty-one homes want to be examined for structural damage.

50/50 Drawing - $22.00 was donated back to Christmas Tree Lane

Announcements
a. February Board Meeting will be held on the 27th not the 20th due to President?’s Day Holiday (The meeting are open to the public).
b. Mayoral Candidates Forum: March 6, 2006, 7:30-9:00 p.m. (Questions by Submittal) There are five candidates for Mayor.
c. 54th and 55th Assembly District Candidate/Incumbent Forum is still being worked on.
d. LB Police Dept. Commander Quach, West Patrol Division Update: May 1, 2006
e. Annual Meeting and Board Elections: June 5, 2006
A nomination committee is being formed, which will include one appointed by the Board, one from the Board and one from the membership.

Motion to Adjourn Business Meeting at 7:37 P.M.

?• Seventh District City Council Candidate Forum Alan Tolkoff was the moderator.
Both candidates for the 7th City Council District; Alex Cherin and Tonia Reyes Uranga attended the forum and answered questions.

The following topics were raised:
Oil Operators, dog breeding, graffiti, City employee pensions, 5 cent sales tax for public safety, LNG, port growth, air quality, Geo testing, air port noise, code enforcement, campaign contributions, homeless, small business improvement and tress.

Audience Comments and Announcements:
Public Hearing on 2006 ?– 07 Action Plan will be on February 15th.

Adjournment ?– 9:15 P.M.
