Repair advice??

Marvin's Car Care

We use Marvin's Car Care at Fort and Cedar. He starts out quoting a price and then depending upon your ability and/or willingness to pay, he will bargain the price down to something affordable in order to avoid losing the business. Tell him you heard about him on the internet and he will be so impressed with himself, he may do it for free.
Marvin

I had my car at Marvin's for 3 days , I couldn't get any power and the engine was shaking, Marvin told me after 3 days and $180 dollars that my engine was shot, and if I decided to buy a new engine or another car to come back and see him, Well something didn't seem right, The Engine was fine before the trouble started, I went home cut the catylatic converter off and the car ran like a champ, The converter was plugged. I was really disappointed, I liked them guys, But paying $180 for a tune up and a bad call just forced me to look else where for repairs. KT

I know what you mean...

When Marvin first opened we took another car (again, our only car) to him and it ended up costing us more than $750 to fix things that weren't actually wrong with it. I forget what it actually turned out to be (that was repaired elsewhere) but we were without our car for 7 weeks out of a 10 week period. I'm sure he's done alright by many people, we just haven't had any luck there.
Be Careful

be very careful of these guys, what ever they tell you make sure you get a second opinion..
