I find it hard to believe that people on this site say it is ok for Washington to spend as much money as possible for the best equipment for our troops(WHICH I AGREE WITH). But these same people deny our police officers to have the same type of spending for the best equipment to help protect us and themselves in this city. A police department is a para-military organization. One would think they both deserve the same respect after all they both serve the same purpose.

I say

That the police are the same as soldiers, Protect them and back them, They put their lives on the line everyday, they deserve the best. KT

you can blame detroit for that. the home land defense granted money for every county that was on the boarder, and guess what det as usual sucked it all up
