That's Just Your Opinion

Nothing else. One thing though...Are you complaining because the Church takes in ''misfits'', as you call them? And I can't believe that you are condemning church goers, when you were also there! And please don't imply or accuse all churchgoers of being hypocrites.One last remark to you... God welcomes all people to His Church, sinners or saints, but sinners need it the most. And aren't we all sinners?

I forgot to say

that there is nothing wrong with praying for the President, whatever party he may be. That is called being Christian. He still needs our prayers.

Divorced and Single Catholics

The Church has support groups for divorced and single Catholics. I found several just doing a search. Seek and Ye shall find. Many churches also have ''Parents without Partners'' meetings. So what do you mean?
