I noticed this morning that Papa John's Pizza on Eureka is gone. What a shock! Does anyone know what happened? I love their pizza and will miss them. Also seen that ''All the Rage'' is leaving too! How sad it is that a small business does not have a chance here in our ''fair(?)'' city.

Planning commission

Does not make it easy for a small business to survive. Very sad. Big tax bases look great on paper, but when those properties are vacant, they don't serve anybody.

Papa John's

Couldn't compete with Little Caesars $5 pizza deals. Personally I don't go with the ''chain'' stores and try to support Wyandotte independents. When we do pizza it's Franks, JJ's or Sportsmans.
Not sure about All the Rage...are they leaving or switching locations?

What does the planning commission have to do with the success or failure of Papa John's?

It's more a saturated market and lower pricing from competition. People vote with their feet and their pocket book.
