WYANDOTTE-- The outcome of the first game played in the Blue-Gold side of the Mega Tournament bracket was never in doubt.

No. 1 seed Wyandotte Roodevelt (17-1) cruised into the second round of the tournament with a 92-53 win over Dearborn Heights Crestwood.

The Bears led by 11 after the first quarter, 18 at the half and 32 at the end of the third before clearing the bench in the fourth quarter.

Four of five seniors scored in double figures on senior night at Wyandotte. Keith Pyle led the way for the Bears with 24. Chuck Hutson added 19 and John Bobrowski and Nate Shay each chipped in 10.

''They go up and down the floor and allow for high scoring games,'' Wyandotte Coach Dave Cramton said. ''They are usually the ones to score in the 90s, but we played very well on both sides of the court tonight.''

Russ Elliss scored 18 for Crestwood and Derek Adams chipped in 17.

Wyandotte will play the winner of today's game against Dearborn Heights Annapolis and Allen Park on Tuesday at Taylor Kennedy. (Game time was announced at 5:30PM)
