Wow! Has anyone seen the lavish, 8 acre palace that Eastern Michigan Univ. built for it's President? All state of the art appliances, computer network, security system, cabinetry, heated flooring, etc., throughout the 10,000 square foot home, not to mention the $896,000.00 spent on landscaping. They got all that for ~$5.2 million.

Maybe Wyandotte could hire their builders as consultants since we are planning to spend 10 mil (18 mil after financing) for a police/court building. I hope for that kind of money (almost double what EMU spent)we will get something, at the very least, comparable to EMUs estate. This new PD/Court house had better have all the bells and whistles (and then some...)considering all the cash being spent. I can't wait to see the floor plan.

They said the house was valued at 3.8 Million, the extra was the acreage and landscapping. WOW Jim

Beware what you ask for. Now they might come up with the same plans as EMU. Then none of the people will retire or leave. With a pad like that I'd stay at work forever. Think of all the over time one could put in for! It is a lot of money and I can't fantom how to spend that much on just a police and court house combo. I would like to say that I do feel that they need something new. Just how big is the question. It would really help myself along if there were drawings to look over. To post them in the city hall or at the police station would be a service to the tax payers. How about putting them here on this site or on their own site on line. One last question or statement/ NO heated floors in the jail.
