Park Blvd at Country Club (FM 1378) Closing and Delays
Residents can expect Park Boulevard at FM 1378 (Country Club Drive) to be closed the weekend of August 27-28, 2005, to install asphalt as part of the realignment of Park Blvd and McMillen Road. This closing is part of the installation of a traffic signal at the FM 1378 and Park Blvd/McMillen Rd intersection.
As part of the closing, residents will not be able to use McMillen Rd as a through-street to Park Blvd at FM 1378 nor be able to turn east on Park Blvd from FM 1378. Westbound traffic on Park Blvd will be redirected to Talladega for connection onto FM 1378.
The traffic signal installation project is scheduled to be completed in 10-12 weeks. Residents could expect some delays during this time as turn lanes on FM 1378 are installed.
