There is a meeting of City Council tonight at 6:00. On the agenda is a proposal to begin to CHARGE BY THE HOUR FOR ANY USE of the Community Center. As many of you know, the school board has already passed a similar action. This facility is already paid for by your tax dollars.
IF YOU HAVE A BOY OR GIRL SCOUT PLEASE BRING THEM WITH YOU TONIGHT AT 6:00. IF you are a member of a Church organization or other volunteer organization, PLEASE come and stand up for YOUR Community Center to continue to be available to groups and organizations that
give freely of their time to help our community and teach our children to do the same!
As City Councilman Carter Porter says, we MUST show up in
force to defeat this proposal.
Please forward this on to everyone you know in the Wylie Area that may not be aware of this proposal and especially those that can attend tonight's City Council Meeting.
