Absent: Carol Kidd

Minutes for the February meeting were read and approved (Vicki, Mark).

The Treasurer's Report for February was also read and approved (Bob, Mark). The bank balance as of February 22 is $66,768.61. Only 8 homeowners have not paid annual dues.

Old Business:

Pull-A-Part was approved by BOZA at the February 21 hearing, with the conditions agreed upon by this board. Since Pull-A-Part's request for a variance on the 15% tree canopy was denied, the company has agreed to plant about 120 of the required 300 or so trees around our two lakes, guaranteeing them for the first year, after which the neighborhood association will assume responsibility for the maintenance of these trees.

The trees will be chosen and planted in consultation with Matt Nally from Operation Brightside. The landscape plan will be submitted to this board for its approval. Total value to Yorktown North: $20,000 (We had paid $2500 for 15)

Block Watch - Minutes for the March 3 meeting are attached. Board members also signed up for the walking team in each member's section. Vicki suggested each report made to police by a walking team member also be made to Linda or Donnie so we can keep a record of all reports made.

Calls to police would be made either to 574-2111 or to Sgt. Barry Denton (our ciommunity Relations Officer) at 574-LMPD. The next Block Watch meeting will be April 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Epiphany on Southside Drive.

Linda completed and mailed in the registration forms needed to ask the Dept. of Neighborhoods for our Block Watch signs.

Tim's reports:
LG&E has agreed to clean up the paint left on the curbs - A street light at the end of Old North Church Rd. was approved (Bob, Mark) at a cost of $15.85 - ID responded to him that they will take care of cleaning up any trash that they might drop in future collections - Two lights for the walls at the Sam entrance will cost $350 (purchase, installation, and one-year warranty) - approved (Bob,Mark). Tim also presented us with a format for getting bids on any and all future contracts. This should help us hold those we contract with to the terms under which they won the bid. We will respond to this format at the April meeting.

Signs - Donnie told Don to make signs for those missing at Chippendale and Old Towne/Declaration. Donnie will also have two signs announcing our Block Watch meetings made for us.

Geese - Linda contacted Goose-Be-Gone concerning a price on their products. A gallon of Goose-Be-Gone costs $85.00 and only covers a 500 square foot area. She will now contact Animal Control to see if someone can come get our extra geese.

Fence - Charles reports that the fence from Old North Church Rd. to the ditch will be replaced with a chain-link fence sometime this spring.

Bridge - Charles will contact Mr. Taylor to ask him about the progress of the drainage ditch he intended to dig in his own yard and about when we may be getting our bridge on the lake built.

Meetings announced - Linda will prepare announcements for the March 28 Community Meeting to be held at Fairdale Elementary and the next Block Watch meeting, to be held April 7 at Epiphany. Charles will have these announcements duplicated and available for neighborhood-wide distribution on March 23.

Adjourned: 9:10 p.m.
Next meeting - April 14 - 7:00 p.m. - Ramino's
