This association was created to oversee the maintenance of the good appearance of Yorktown North Subdivision. It is composed of a nine-member Board of Directors who, at the Annual Meeting held each year in October, are elected to serve staggered three-year terms.
The Board of Directors oversees a $50,000 budget based on the collection of annual dues,($192)assessed each of the 337 homeowners in the subdivision. Dues are spent on streetlighting, landscaping two entrances, mowing common areas and around the two lakes, quarterly street-cleaning, accounting costs, and on legal fees.
The Board is also responsible for the distribution of our neighborhood's restrictions to new residents of our subdivision and to established residents who need copies of these. Residents agree to abide by these restrictions when they sign their contracts for homeownership.
