Minutes for April 20, 2006

Present: Charles Owen, Linda Duncan, Mark Osborn, Carol Kidd, Martin Rothman, Donnie Faulkner, Bob Davison,

Absent: Vicki Welch, Bob Henry

Guest: Mr. and Mrs. Zachary of 7403 York River Rd. and Sam Drive want to place a Pickleball court in their backyard - size 30' x 60' including out -of-bounds - all asphalt. The Directors will consider this request for approval, as per our Restrictions.


The Minutes and Treasurer's report for March 9 were approved (Carol moved; Robert seconded).


Old Business:

Fence - A contract for completing the fence along National Turnpike is to be written for this fall with Penrod. Meanwhile, someone will be hired to remove and haul away the old fence.

Entrance islands - Mr. Hudson, our electrician, is working on the power to both islands. When the shrubbery is completed and the irrigation system is installed, we will undertake the holiday lighting project.

Mark moved; Martin seconded that Bob and Charles hire an irrigation company to re-install a system at both entaances, the expense of which is not to exceed $6,700. Approved.

Leaning light posts - Bob will be calling LG&E to remind them to come fix our leaning light posts. He called them on 4/19.

Anonymous letter reporting trailer and boat violations - Carol moved; Donnie seconded that a letter be sent from our association attorney's office to violators who have trailers or boats parked in their driveways. This letter is a remindere that violators are open to suit from their neighbors.

Clean-up Day for the back lake has been set for June 3 at 9:00 a.m. Linda will call Operation Brightside to make supply and pick-up arrangements.

Annual Meeting is set for October 21, tentatively at Epiphany.
