Minutes for May 25, 2006

Present: Charles Owen, Vicki Welch, Martin Rothman, Donnie Faulkner, Bob Davison, Linda Duncan

Absent: Carol Kidd, Bob Henry

Guest: Daniel McNeil - 7300 Old North Church Rd.
Daniel wanted to know if we needed to hire someone to do maintenance on our fences or anything else in the subdivision. He has a service he was proposing. Board members informed him that these services were not needed at this time.

The Minutes for April were read and approved, as was the Treasurer's Report,(Mark moved; Bob seconded) which showed a bank balance of $72,121.96 as of April 24, 2006. Only 6 homeowners have not paid dues for this year.


Old Business:

Fence - We have a contract to finish the fence along National Turnpike.

Islands - We are working on their repair by the end of May.

Leaning lightposts - All are repaired.


New Business:

Annual Meeting - October 21, 2006 - 9:00 a.m.

Goose with broken wing - Ky. Wildlife will come later and pick it up.

Road entrance to lake for trucks - Vicki will contact Ron Weston, Steve, Ky Transportation Commission about how to reinforce the sidewalk so trucks can cross to build the front fence.

Landscaping - This will begin when the irrigation system is operable.

Bob Henry is resigning from the Board and will need to be replaced.

IPL calls - IPL was called on 4/15 to report the trailer parked in the driveway at 306 Old Towne Rd. since moving the trailer, the homeowner has parked a boat having a large gas tank there in the driveway. Fire Dept. will now be consulted since this may be a hazard

Lake Clean-up Day - June 3, Operation Brightside will provide supplies for us to clean up the south lake. This notice and the notice for the June 8 Block Watch meeting will go out in a flier by the end of May.
