This meeting was held at Pull-A-Part and our Board was given a tour of the facilities and shown how this company has abided by the elements Yorktown North requested in the agreement that went before the Board of Zoning.
The Treasurer's Reports for July and August were approved (Bob / Martin seconded), as were the Minutes for August.
Old Business:
All fencing is now complete at a total cost of $30,000.
New Business:
MSD rocked the section where they removed old pipes, along National Turnpike side; they also rocked a section near our bridge, thanks to Charles and Bob's reminder at the community meeting and to our Councilwoman Vicki Welch.
Linda will put an ad in the C-J for our October 7 Neighborhood-wide Yard Sale. Carol will also put this in our September newsletter.
Donnie, Vicki, and Carol will be the committee that selects the top three Decorated homes in our Christmas Decoration Contest.
Donnie will report on the selection of a garbage pick-up service for our neighborhood at the Annual Meeting October 21. Many have already signed up for the $99 annual fee to the vendor.
P&R is putting in new landscaping for the Old Towne entrance beginning 9/25.
Holiday lighting will be done by P&R on both entrance islands this season following Thanksgiving.
Bob is taking care of any entrance light and sign-related issues.
Lake Clean-up Day will be October 28 at 9:00 a.m. Linda will call Operation Brightside to make arrangements for bags, rakes, etc.
Our December meeting will be held December 14 at South Park Country Club.
