Minutes for June 15, 2006

Jun 30, 2006

Present: Charles Owen, Linda Duncan, Vicki Welch, Bob Davison, Martin Rothman, Mark Osborn

Absent: Donnie Faulkner, Carol Kidd, Bob Henry

Guests: Bobby and Doris Caffey at 7311 Old North Church Rd. - concerned about vehicles parked on the street and in driveways, specifically concerned about truck-trrailers parked on the street and box truck parked in driveway and unlicensed cars parked in the grass.

We have already reported these violations to IPL, who oftentimes arrive at these addresses when vehicle owners are still at work. We have sent a letter from our lawyer to residents where this has been a long-term issue.

The Minutes for the May meeting were read and approved, as was the Treasurer's Report that states we have a bank bslsnce of 63,128.22 as of May 30.(Martin motioned; Mark seconded; approved.)

Old Business:

Street signs - Bob agrees to have the street signs for Sam and Old Towne re-set in the entrance islands.

Lights at entrances - Hudson Electric is restoring power and lights on the islands and along the walls.

New Business:

Pull-A-Part - Linda, Carol, and Martin met with Pull-A-Part representatives and National Turnpike site staff at Fifth Quarter to go over details of the opening of the business here, field neighborhood questions or concerns, and take us on a tour to show us that they had followed the binding elements we had all agreed upon. If this can be accomplished, our July board meeting will be at Pull-A-Part.

Trees at entrances - We are deciding whether or not a tree damaged by lightning at Sam needs to be removed by the association or the property owner. Also, we are taking bids on removing the big tree at the Old Towne entrance. It is diseased.

Garbage collection - At our Annual Meeting October 21, we will be considering the possibility of selecting one company to pick up garbage in our neighborhood.

Adjourned: 8:55 p.m.
Next meeting - July 20 - 7:00 p.m. - Pull-A-Part
