Block Watch Meeting - April 7, 2005

Block Watch signs have been posted throughout the neighborhood.


Reported Incidents:

March 16 - Attempted break-in of car - Old Towne Rd. - Tim Hardy

March 17 - Break-in of van and theft of $400 and boxes of Girl Scout cookies - Old Towne Rd.

April 3 - campfire on front lake - Fairdale Fire Dept. responded

------- - Paint taken from garage, sprayed on signs and road - Old Towne Rd. - Mike Nowicke

------- - Car break-in; hot-tub cover removed - Declaration - Jeff Ruzanka



Block Watch Captains named:

Declaration Drive - Jeff Ruzanka
York River Rd. - Kerry Proffitt
Sam Drive - Bob Davison
Old North Church Rd. - Dan and Diana McNeil
Old Towne Rd. - Donnie Faulkner

These captains were mailed copies of the names of those on their street who had signed up to be on a Walking Team.



*** Magnetic Block Watch signs (30) have been ordered through Best Stamp and Seal so that those who choose to watch their streets in thier cars can be identified easily. These signs should be ready to distribute at our May 5 Block Watch meeting.


After the May 5 meeting, only the captains will be asked to attend brief meetings on the first Thursday of each month during the summer.
