More Possible Building in Our Area

There has been a lot of concern in the last two to three weeks about the property at 8112 Shobe Lane. This property has been sold to a group called Christian Church Homes of Kentucky. Anyone wishing to know more about the organization should go to www.cchk.org. There has been speculation about what will be built there. We have started investigating into the matter and also have our 29th district State Representative, Kevin Bratcher, checking with his contacts. We have been told by the planning commission and the city/county permits department that nothing can be built on this property by this organization, other than a church, until the permit department issues a Conditional Use Permit. This requires that the planning commission hold a hearing on whether or not to grant this permit. We are in the process of registering to be notified, by the planning commission, of any new plans to build in our area. When we have more information or learn of any new changes, we will be providing further details to you.
