Hello, I am Sherida Butler, known to my close friends as Sherry. I have lived in Louisville since 1998 with my husband, G. W. "Doug" Butler. I have a daughter, Trish, who lives here in Louisville with my son-in-law, Jeff; a son, Shane, who lives in Durham NC with my daughter-in-law, Christy, and his sons, Roland, Duncan, and Henry; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Lee, who lives in Rockingham NC and has two children, Jay and Samantha; a stepson, Jonathan, who lives in Burlington NC.

In 2008, I retired from UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Louisville KY.  I have been active in the Women of the Moose Louisville Chapter 573 since 2003. I was invited to join Young Hearts Theatre after my retirement by a member of the Women of the Moose.

I auditioned for the 2009 Spring Show and have been involved with Young Hearts since that day. Young Hearts Theatre is a wonderful organization for retired professionals and non-professionals in theatre and music. The primary outreach of Young Hearts Theatre is local nursing home and assisted living center residents, as well as, local civic organizations. I have found many new and delightful friends in Young Hearts Theatre and feel fortunate to be able to be part of this amazing group of performers.
