WE LIKE OUR TAMARAC COMMUNITY !

We chose to buy in Tamarac after we rented here for nearly two years first. We got used to this great place to live. When you get accustomed to something good, you want to keep it. So, in 1989 we decided to purchase our present house, in a beautiful location. Now, we are excited about the renovation of our community, and we're anxious to see the coming improvements! They will enhance the quality of life here, as well as the value of our property.

We plan to make it even more beautiful than before. We'll do it, too.

Then, when our daughter and grand daughter from Chicago come to visit we can be more proud than ever to show them around. When our son comes from Phoenix to show us the latest lunker bass he caught, even he will notice something different here. We know that we definitely will !

HOW ABOUT THOSE NICE NEIGHBORS !

What would a neighborhood be without good neighbors? It's easy to lock yourself up in your home, and never see anyone. But now, because of the coming renewal, we have met more of our neighbors in a few short days than we had in years. They all share our concerns for the welfare of our community.

They desire a clean and lovely environment: so do we. They want a safe place to live: so do we. They want the finer things in American life: so do we.

We will all work together we will achieve those goals.

WE TAKE BACK OUR NEIGHBORHOOD !

THE BIG SPECIAL MEETING OF HOMEOWNERS has accomplished what the organizers intended: To take back control of the Association. Of the total of 49 Homeowners, 28 were represented at the meeting, and voted for the new board of directors.

WE ALSO ADOPTED a Code of Conduct to be observed at all Association meetings and functions. A civilized way of conducting business will prevail. In addition, the Bylaws were amended to require the Association President to appoint active committee chairmen to perform tasks previously falling solely upon the shoulders of the president, creating a burden thaat stifled completion of anything worthwhile.

Each committee chairman will be assigned to specific details in the activities of the Association, and required to report to the board regularly.

THIS IS A LONG AWAITED IMPROVEMENT in the life of Tamarac at Maryland Lakes. Not only is it welcomed by the 28 Homeowners represented, but the rest of the 49 will also be pleased !
