Have there been discussions on whether or not (or time-frame of) there will be a bridge connector built to connect Longwood and Lamont roads? There seems to be a good bit of traffic that is forced to rely entirely on Bradbury to cross from Montford to Wedgewood (and beyond), and it would appear that an extra connector would be the logical move, and one that already appears on maps and prepped for construction. Any advices would be much appreciated.

I don't know of any plans to add a bridge anytime soon, but will send this along to our CDOT contacts, and post any response on here.

Here is the answer. It is proposed but not funded and there is not even a staff person handling this. Doesn't look like it would come to fruition any time soon...

As with all of the bike/ped connections, there is no funding for implementation. As far as I know, it has never been proposed for a street connection but based on neighborhood input and support, maybe the new connectivity person can look at this option.
