DRUG DEALING STEREO

I am sure that every one that reads this forum has been a teenager at some point in their lifetime. Are you going to honestly tell me that you have never in your life time drove around with your radio loud. I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 2 and I still drive around with my radio loud at times. Yes, it is disrespectful to blast your stereo at night to loudly. However that does not make them ?“DRUG DEALERS?”. If driving around with the radio blasting makes you a drug dealer, then the Milwaukee Police Department needs more of your hard earned tax dollars to build more jails in everyone?’s neighborhoods to accommodate all of the kids and adults that they need to pullover and arrest for drug dealing. So to conclude my statement I would like to add that when the City decides to put this practice in place I hope that I am one of the first people they ask where to build the first jail so I can say PIGGSVILLE right next to your house.

Everyone love a good jam...

I have to agree with both sides of the postings on the radios. Yes, there are times that we also have had our car radio turned up when a good ''jam'' is playing. HOWEVER..... there is a difference between having a factory stereo turned up loud and having an stereo that bass is turned up so loud that you can hear the windows rattle. The blairing music doesn't bother me to much during the day, but all drivers should show some courtesy to the neighbors during the night when the majority of the people are sleeping. I am not sure if I have the time frames correct, but I think the current noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 7 am.
You are right.

In response to two of these postings, you are correct. Jumping to conclusions is not the right way to fix the problem. I would like to ask the person in the green car though, if they are willing to turn down their music between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. It sounds as if they claim they do not want to be a ''bad'' neighbor but are just unaware of the decibel level the music and I am sure if we had just asked nicely, he would have complied. So I do appologize for making remarks that I do not have facts to back. I am very sorry.
Maybe too in light of this information, as it seems this person has their eyes and ears open to the goings on here and does not want to be considered a problem person down here, maybe they would be willing to help extricate some of the ''problems'' coming into the neighbor by providing info to the police so that such matters can be handled correctly. Would this be a possiblitly? It may change the attitudes of others living down here concerning the negative status of this person if a ''good'' deed were performed by them rather than definate deeds performed by them. I know we have not earned that and I know you have the right to basicaly tell us to drop dead but, there is a negative stigma attached to you for some reason, that may be simply corrected by getting involved in the neighborhood in a good way and helping the situation and in turn this should dispell the negative feelings that neighbors have against you.
Would you be willing to do this? Again, I know we have not earned that respect in your eyes but you to have to earn the respect you are asking us to give you as well. So maybe we can work together to respect each other. Please?
