On the main page there is a message about the VA Chapel and endangerment of the old graves at VA. The foundation, raises money to restore, renovate and help maintain the old graves and historical buildings at the VA.

I have been an active participant with the Soliders Home Foundation (SHF). On June 5th and 6th at the VA grounds, the SHF is having their annual fund raising event. It kicks off with a parade on June 5th at 10:30 am. I will be one of their honored guests riding in this parade because I was their top fund raiser last year. There will also be war re-enactments, auctions, food, military bands, guest speakers, tours of the historical buildings and through the cementery. This would be a great historical learning event for kids of all ages.

Or you can come see me at the neighborhood meeting next Tuesday at Marquette HS. Remember, all donations are tax exempt and no donation is to small. If you are writing a check, please make it out to the Soldiers Home Foundation. I will have some pamphlets with me if you would like to mail your donation.

tonights meeting

It looks doubtful that I will be able to attend tonights meeting due to my husbands work schedule. With his new schedule, we have to get up at 3 am. But I will do my best to make it there.
