New block watches have been started in conjunction with the new WESD/North Phoenix Alliance Partnership. We have identified certain schools and their respective areas that did not have a partner to work with (school/block watch). Then NPA did what needed to be done. We did all the groundwork and built a foundation with the assistance of CAO's Merrill Lloyd and Jaime Corralles, NSD and Vice Mayor Siebert's office.
Two of the three block watches that have been started are located in the Acacia and Arroyo School neighborhoods. These two block watches have already formed an executive board and have had over 60 people each at their last meeting. Congratulations!
Our next neighborhood/school partnership being formed will be at Chaparral School. North Phoenix Alliance supports ALL block watches. Let us know what we can do for your organization.
