Ashbourne Hills Civic Association

We are very concerned about the residence on the corner of Cameo and Shelley that constantly has cars parked along both corners of the street and on the grass. Many of the cars are parked illegally up to the stop sign which is a hazard to all drivers. Is this house running an automobile repair business? There are at least NINE cars. There is also debris and junk all over the yard (animal cages, dead plants). We are embarrassed that this is the entrance to our street and are concerned that these vehicles will prevent safe snow plowing during the winter.

I see this all the time, I live on West Shelly. There are tons of cars and things all over the property. I hope Ashbourne Hills does something about this

Report The Problem

You can report the problem online at the New Castle County website. It is a code violation to park on the grass and to have accumulated trash in the yard. If you don't report it the problem will continue. We cannot expect the civic assoc. to do everything for us. Just remember these code violations lower your property value.
