It has come to my attention that there is a tentative meeting scheduled for this coming Monday, the 26th of January.

Greenacres Property Management on Gunn Hwy, just North of Linebaugh and on the right.

6:30 PM starts the A.C.C. or Architectural Control Committee meeting.

7:00 PM starts the Annual Meeting. Rumor has it that the President's position is up for election. There might be another position up for election also.

Information is scarce at best here so if you want to know more you can give Greenacre a call (follow the link to them on our Community Links on the home page here) or show up Monday evening. Or, stop by one of the board member's homes and ask. You can find their addresses listed on the Hillsborough County Property Tax Appraiser's site. The link is also on the home page.

Update! Our HOA President, Rob, called yesterday to inform me that there is no meeting scheduled for Monday, the 26th. Rob is waiting on 3 lawn maintenance estimates from our property management company, Greenacre before scheduling a meeting. From what I understand, the contract is up for bid.

Questions. How often is our lawn maintenance contract put up for bid?

Answer. Come to a meeting to find out. (Board members do not post info for you here. Nor does Greenace Property Management.)

It's sad that I have to try and remember information told to me in order to post it here for those that don't want to attend or cannot attend meetings. This is why in the past I have said here that this stuff is 'secret'. Members of our board are afraid to post anything here it appears. I don't understand the mentality of the board. This web site has been provided free of charge to share and discuss information with the residents about our community. They take the time to read discussions. They don't want to get into a 'flame war' is the current state of affairs I understand. Well, well.

Meeting postponed? Your kidding. I was looking forward to it. LOL. Your not surprised are you? Flame wars? I have atom bombs to drop! Of course they expect you to do all the postings, that's part of the privilege of having them as are fearless leaders and us as the peasants. C'mon Paul know your roll. Their the almighty and we are the common folk. Were not even permitted to talk with are neighbors without being rudely interrupted by people with poor social skills! Don't wake the king....ha-ha

Hi Rich! I'm not really surprised by anything anymore to tell you the truth. Did I notice a meeting sign posted in the median? I think I did but, I cannot even read what it says. Pathetic that these signs are posted with faded out lettering. Twice I have driven by this sign and I still cannot read it. I know our leaders are doing all they can do and they are not being paid for their roles but, is it time for a change in leadership? I think so. We need some new people who take seriously the positions of leadership and not balk about it once they get in. Someone who can communicate using 21st century tools that are not handicapped by the usual excuses for disregard. Rich, do we have anyone like this in Bella Vista? I'd be willing to support this person(s) if they'd let me. "I'm done with this mess", to quote someone else here.
