It's easy!
Go to Town Hall to the Clerk's office and tell them you would like nomination papers for precinct ? You must get signatures of at least 10 registered voters in your princinct only. You and your wife can sign as well as other registered voters in your home.
Get at least 15 signatures in case someone challenges you.
Return the nomination papers to the town clerks office before the deadline and your name will be on the ballot April 5.
Thank you for being interested.

Run for Hubbard's job he's gone
After this election good old Joe will be history!
The save Braintree by taxing it to death crowd are desperate for an override, any way they can they want an override, the schools need it, its for the children ,its for the town, its needed for the people, and so on.
If they are able to have their way we will be able to live beyond our means
and we will all be so much happier for ever after.
Mr Hubbard's sole purpose in life is to lead the town to an override for
the teachers pay raise.
We, the towns taxpayers need new leaders and a new form of government, these people in office
have a hidden agenda from ours and at least one owe there support to the teachers union.
We also need a new school committee who?’s leaders are not working in the taxpayers best interest. They have given raises and concessions beyond our financial means.
They have betrayed our trust and do not deserve to serve us, they are traitors voting against our ,the taxpayers, best interests.

Dear History,
why don't you take out papers for school committee. Then when you are elected, you can vote no on every piece of business that comes down the road. After that, the only action the other side will have is to push for overrides. In a democracy people are asked to vote on important decisions. Yes or no, up or down. Overrides are part of the process. If you agree, you vote yes. If you don't, vote no. The tough part is getting in your car and driving to the polls. Wouldn't it be great if on election day we get a 30-40% turn out as opposed to our regular 20%. Then after the votes are counted, the rants and complaints fill this web site. Braintree town government shouldn't start on BELD.net. It should begin at the polls on election day. In April when election day rolls around, GET OUT AND VOTE!
