Prediction here is Joe ''thought he fell off edge of the earth'' Powers will survive close, messy threesome battle and eek out victory over FX McAuliffe and Tiny Tim taking a marginal victory as well. Joe ''Mr. Moderator'' Powers has a lot to bring to the table; however, if he defeats Timothy, it's the same old 3-2 majority with Chucky Cheese Smiley Face returning to the King's Seat ably abetted by Derwood Darrin and Chuckin Charlie. Another three years of Ms. Ackerman and her high priced minions doing her work for procurements, finances and DPW work. That woman couldn't perform suitably in the trash cubicle soon to move to the quiet hollows of the Torrey Headquarters. Life goes on here in Braintree.

Strange Political Decisions?

Tom Reynolds who had a cushy trough treasured position with Mass. Highway Department leaves that no-show village to come unequipped and ill skilled to be second in command at our DPW wash and flush department? Heard he took a substantial pay cut to give back to his hometown too!
Then Town Clerk Joe Powers leaves the comforts of registering voters, recording deaths and births and issuing dog licenses to return to the private sector after unsuccessfully competing against Shoeless Joe Driscoll for State Rep. A pension in the making for Mr. Powers with no heavy lifting to strive for a seat under the Golden Dome for Dummies. Now, he wants to run the show in town as a Selectman and I wish him well in his journey to the horseshoe table topside at the local seat of government. Strange this game of politics?
