Partying & Revelry in Kenmore Sq

Posted in: Braintree
Kids...stay home with your parents and watch the World Series from the safety of your 60 inch television adorned living rooms.

You got everything at home. Cell phones, IM Chat, Internet with pc mounted cameras, 60 inch TV's and all the free liquor in your kitchen. Have a few friends over and invent them to crash at your home. Your parents will be happy to pick up after your friends.

Stay out of Boston, Kenmore Square and Fenway. Don't be an idiot. Stay home.

Anyone who goes in there knowing that Armed Riot Police in full gear will be ready to bust up out of control crowds has to be a real stupid idiot. I'm sorry that young Emerson College girl died from her injuries, but she had to have known the risks she was taking entering into such a crowd of out of control drunken college aged kids. She simply did not belong in that crowd and should have gone home after the game.

I watched the Kenmore crowds on Fox TV after the game and for the life of me I cannot understand confronting armed horseback mounted police.

Parents, counsel your kids to stay home.

I don't understand what's wrong with these kids today. They are simply out of control. They should all be arrested and expel from their schools.
Please heed the warning

and stay away from Kenmore square. It seems that it is alway an innocent bystander that gets killed, never the ones who are causing the trouble.

Stay home and watch the games and then watch the idiots on the news. Don't be one of them.

something wrong with this pictur

Am I becoming cynical in my old age...or what? My reaction to the Herald photos of the Emmerson student killed was initially that they were graphic and maybe the paper went too far. But the more i think about it, I applaud them. I feel for the family...I really do. But I don't buy the father's claim that this was a fan just having fun at the game. Hello...she was not AT the game. She willingly joined a mob to celebrate. Why aren't people held resposnible for thier own actions anymore? I applaud major league baseball for thier moment of silence at the game, that was a great reminder to fans. But wouldn't it have been better to ban beer sales in the park??? Now THAT would have been a great community service. Rioting after a win is not part of sports...never EVER should it be glorified. All the press on this seems to be doing exactly that.
