Wow Tho, you have got the record. 30 replies, in one day. Great post!
Now can someone explain to me why the US does NOT have national healthcare like that of Canada and Europe. I think it is a shame that we are giving 350 million to the disaster, and there are people HERE who cannot afford healthcare.

Big Business
Talkin, The reason is that the President is in the pocket of the Health Maintenance Organizations and Drug companies. This Country already has a single payer health care now, it is called Medicaire. This process could work if it was extended to all people regardless of age. Yet our wonderful President wants to dismantle this also.

''Medicaire'' is that French?
Canada and the EU are socialist countries. We are capitalist. I don't care to wait for months to have surgery or to see my dentist or pay 70% + of my income to the government in taxes.
I do much better paying for my health insurance.
Jan Egeland called us cheap because the government of Norway (socialist) makes all the donations and the people do not.
We make the mojority of donations and the government keeps up the rear.
We are far better off with our health care system than are the Canadians and EU.
We take care of everyone who can not afford health insurance. If you make a decent wage and don't have health insurance, shame on you.
