wow
your a real beauty. You complain that they do nothing, but in the same breath you admit you do nothing at your job either. So, you have time at work to compare police and fire fighters, then someone should tell your boss to find something productive for you to do. What a dope.

You have the advantage over me. You know me but I don't know you. There are a lot of productive things that go on at the Fire Department but it seems people always dwell on what they consider negative things. Get a life and start dwelling on the positive for a change. Boring Job. It was anything but boring. What's the reference to the Barracks? They don't stay in a Barracks, you been in the military or just a wannabe?

For your information the BFD has gone to medical calls for as long as the department has been there. That statement just show how much you really know. Not much. Hardly worth the effort to respond. Let me tell you about Call/Vol. fire departments. You DON'T want them. Another poster mentioned that I now live in West Virginia. I do and love it BUT most all of the departments down here are vol. By the time they get to a fire it is a mop up job all the time. If you want that then have at it pal but don't cry when it happens to you.

You morons
You think firefighters from other towns don't sleep? You're so funny.
If you ever need them, make sure you let them know how you feel about them when they get to your place. That's if you got balls to do so.
And about the medical calls, if the PD don't call the FD, then they don't response. That's why the FD is getting the new system to monitor all the 911 calls.
