a president creates jobs? I'm sure that a president could increase the size of government and add people to the payroll that way, but how else does a president create jobs?
Having been part of the real world all of my life, what makes businesses hire more people? Is that not by increasing the size of the company and the goods or services that company produces?
Is it not true that reducing taxes, provides more money to hire more people, buy better equipment and produce more goods create the need to hire more people?
If you think that presidents need to create jobs by hiring more people to work for the government, where do you think the government will get the extra money to create more jobs?
Go look in the mirror and come back and tell me if you think you can afford it.
We need to provide more incentives for BUSINESS to provide more jobs, not the government. We need even bigger tax cuts not smaller ones.
We may be stuck with much higher oil prices because of world demand and the refusal of the US environmentalists to allow us to use our own fuel buried under our own land.
John Kerry wanted to tack 50 cents a gallon tax on us to make us find alternative fuel sources but when someone wanted to build windmills in Nantucket sound, he wanted non of it. It would spoil his view!
Soon we will all be chattering about how cold it is if we don't do something soon.
Wake up, we need fossil fuel until we find something better.
