Seems that not only has Quincy repaved
alot of it's roads, it is LOWERING it's tax rate. That's right it is lowering it's taxes. Braintree on the other hand is raising it's taxes and repaving none of it's roads. By Dr. Quincy |

Cab homeowners pave themselves
if the sidewalk in front of your home is in ''questionable'' shape can the homeowner repair? Wil town object? Time and time again the plows have torn up the dirt between street and sidewalk Can that be filled in by homeowner ? We are wondering By Do it yourself type |

sure we can fix it
yes we have been repaving lots of roads you just havent been paying attention. look at the wonderful job they did on west street the section of road to nowhere. oh excuse me to the ridge project . and now the wonderful work they are going to do on pond street .A street wich i think was in good shape compared to many other roads. i just dont under stand the priorities. lik ewhen i asked about my street getting cleaned last spring buy a street sweeper i was told we only go through once and if people are parked on the street you loose its as simple as that.so i said why dosent a supervisor go throught the street first and call the police to tag and tow the cars that are blocking the access of the sweepers .how hard is that i work in another town and i have to be careful where i park on certain days so the sweepers can clean. also its great that high priority roads can get cleaned each week but its funny those same roads are always in the hoity toity sections of town. (how original)If you dont think Pond st. needs paving or is being favored. Your not really paying attention....Or you just like bitching... Pond St. was last paved in the 80s. Its worse than a dirt road. If you want to Bitch at least have some idea of what your talking about. Like if you want your side walk fixed go talk to Mike at the Building dept ...He got the side walk fixed in front of his mommies house on West st. Check it out it looks stupid. They only fixed about 40 feet of it.Talk about waste and favoritism.. I hope his mommy appreciates my tax money... Anyway,Please,for the children get away from your keyboard and enjoy your Holiday..
