Your skepticism can easily be answered if you would call a member of the Board of Selectmen and have that person formally ask the current town counsel about the business gate installed at this funeral home. It's not me or anyone else making the accusation, but from a former park commissioner who told me about this issue and the then counsel not wanting to proceed into litigation. It's true. Just ask and you'll get the legal response you seek. Don't need to take the word from anyone else if you don't trust the information.

a little confused

The people on this forum are complaing about not having lifeguards at sunset lake. We do have lifeguards at sunset lake AND at smith beach, they just sit and do nothing all day because nobody ever goes there. and they get paid pretty good money for it, from what i hear. Whats the big deal with shutting down the lake and/or smith beach and using the lifeguards at the pool? i don't seem to understand.

And, the highschool is already busy enough on any given weekday. The pool should not go there. it would create much more chaos to an already chaotic area.

Are you. You just said that no one goes to Sunset lake during the summer.
Lets all build a 1.5 million dollar pool that no one will go to. ---Makes sense to me. Did you graduate from Braintree high????

Nobody goes to sunset lake because it's full of dirty, disgusting water. If we had a pool that was chemicaly controlled then people would swim there. If people swim there, then our tax dollars are NOT going to lifeguards who sit on their butts tanning and get paid for it. they will actually have to work. think about it. YOU are the one not thinking, nitwit.
