The monies that are placed into the budgets (schools) in FY06 will reappear as part of their educationally sound budget, the roadway repairs will require details for police which will go into their FY07 payroll / OT budget for FY07.

What is the business plan for future years to manage these increases in the budget. Are we going to just keep doing overrides every year? It seems that way since we have had one on the ballot the past few years. It just seems that a certain group of people will keep trying anything until they get the answer they want. NO OVERRIDE! It called Money Management 101. If there is no one in town government that can not perform this function (and I believe there is not) then get rid of them.

a few too many times with that idiot brain cramp logic. Road work that reqires police details does not come from Police budget, but from one time road improvement contractor's contractor. Not planted into a department's operating budget. Same with schools, you idiot monkey. I can understand your illogical brain cramping, but spewing stupidity is cancerous in this town. One time capital expenses such as new radio communication upgrades at both police and fire depts, new rugs at the senior center, new roads or new windows or roof work at the schools are not folded into any department's budgets for future escalated or bloated future costs. One time expenditures! What is it you don't understand with that logic, amigo?

If the trash fee pays for trash pickup and the over ride is the same amount of money then wont it be needed to pay for the trash pickup. where will the money come for all the other things that the over ride is going to pay for?
