Just wanted to relay what my mother experienced in her Pecan Creek neighborhood. A friend asked her if she could barrow her car and watch her baby while she brought her toddler to the emergency room. About 15 minutes of the car leaving the drive-way and the sun going down, all the electricity in her house went off. She had a crying baby, couldn't find the flash light right away- so decided to wait until the baby went to sleep, thinking all the neighbors also were without electricity. When she went out, her electric panel was wide open and all the circuits were turned off.
We're suspecting that it was kids. She will be purchasing a lock for her utility boxes outside as well as my husband will be installing motion activated lights for the sideyard.
Just wanted to pass this story along and suggest to those living alone to lock up your utility boxes.
