I know it doesn't look fabulous, but if stopping it for a few months saves $60,000 that's A LOT of money, I think it's well worth it personally. Lights are needed for safety, trash is needed for sanitation, landscaping is a luxury IMO not a need (well it may become a fire hazard if left unattended too long but we're nowhere near that point). It isn't permanent. Like anyone with financial debt sometimes you have to give up luxuries for a short time in order to deal with a more immediate issue and then you can go back to the luxuries when you're more financially sound. Let's face it the financial state was not great, I think the board is trying really hard to make cuts where they can for small periods of time on things that aren't an absolute necessity. One more month and it'll go back to the way it was , no harm no foul, and in the process we just saved $60K.
