Good morning!!!!!! Here are a few examples of the calls for the last twenty four hours. Officer Farley contacted a theft suspect on Lariat Trail. The 22 year old male had an outstanding warrant for theft and was arrested. He was also cited for the theft of approximately $50 worth of beer. Officer Adkins stopped a vehicle at S. 12th and Treadaway. The driver, a 31 year old male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. This incident is the 464th DWI in Abilene since January 1st. Finally, Officer Romero contacted a subject in reference to a disturbance call in the 1400 block of Orange. The 30 year old male had an outstanding warrant for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and was arrested. For the Abilene Police Department, this is Sgt Keith Shackleford.
