August Crime Reports!

CRIME REPORT; 8-25-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 2:30 PM Agents of the Special Operations Division executed a Search Warrant in the 3200 blk of N 3rd.  Agents contacted a male subject there.  He was found to be in possession of 5g of meth amphetamine and 6 ounces of marijuana.  He was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.  A second male subject was contacted outside the residence.  He had marijuana in his pocket.  He was also charged with Possession of marijuana. 

 

At 11:45 PM Officer Kevin Ohnheiser was dispatched to a disturbance in the 800 blk of Nelson.  Officer Ohnheiser observed a male subject in the street attempting to fight another man.  This man was intoxicated and was arrested for Public Intoxication.  He was also found to be in possession of marijuana and also charged with that. 

 

And finally at 1:25 AM Officer Joe Plato was dispatched to a shots fired call in the 700 blk of N Lasalle.  Officer Plato contacted a male subject there who was in possession of a .45 caliber handgun.  This man was placed under arrest for Unlawfully Carrying a Handgun.

CRIME REPORT; 8-26-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 4:45 PM Officer Joe long was dispatched to a theft call at north side business.  Loss prevention had detained a female subject for shoplifting.  She was taken into custody and charged with Theft. 

 

At 7:00 PM Officer Alfred Dixon was dispatched to a disturbance in the 3100 blk of S 22nd.  Officer Dixon saw a male subject punch the victim in the face several times.      Officer Dixon arrested this man for Assault Family Violence.

 

And finally at 1:40 AM Officer Chris Collins was dispatched to a single car accident at mile marker 292 on E I-20.  This male subject had warrants for Probation Violation and Theft by Check.  Officer Collins took this man into custody and then found him to be in possession of Heroin.  He was charged with the warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 8:03 PM Officer Mary Guitar was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2600 blk of Nonesuch.  A male subject there had tried to pull  his 2 year old child away from the child’s mother causing visible injuries to the child.   This male subject also shoved the female into a wall causing her pain.  This male subject was placed under arrest for Injury to a Child and Assault Family Violence. 

 

At 8:40 PM Officer Andrew Valdez Stopped a vehicle in the 1000 blk of Pecan for running a stop sign.  The passenger in the vehicle was observed to toss out a partially full can of beer.  The driver appeared intoxicated and refused the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and refused to provide a breath sample. 

 

And finally at 11:51 PM Officers Darren Ruiz and Josh Davis observed two male subjects taking about $14,000.00 worth of property from a south side business.  They were detained and it was discovered that they had forcibly entered the building.  These male subjects were arrested for Burglary of a Building.
