Hi everyone, we recently purchased a TH in the Cedar Lakes community, and are looking at different options for tv programming.  How is the satellite reception in the area, based on your expereince?  What about the service and quality of Cox Cable?  We had previous horrible experience with Dish Network, so we are concerned about satellite.

Also, I remember seeing some flyer saying that Verizon FIOS is laying cables in the community, but I can't seem to find that pamphlet.  Does anyone remember this?

Thanks for all your help!Laughing

Cox cable service has greatly improved over the past 12 years. They really sucked and the connection would drop all the time.

But I am very happy with Cox Internet service now.

I have DirecTV and it comes in great!!  Had it now for about 8 years I guess.  No crap channels like on Cable. I have no interest in the Cox TV channels.

They are still installing the FIOS system in the community. I have seen the boxes around a few homes. Not sure if anyone has active service yet.
