Colonial Acres

I just noticed the for sale sign at the Underwood Methodist church at the corner of Mt. Moriah & Quince.

I can't help but feel a bit nervous as to who might be planning to buy such a property.

Hopefully the new name won't be "Blessed Temple of the Chosen Deliverization of Overcomers"

or anything along those lines.....

Hopefully whoever buys it will be a courteous and respectful neighbor to the residents on Delmont.  I've noticed that some churches around town have more members (cars really) than parking spaces.  Are there zoning requirements that specify a ratio of the number of parking space to church capacity and if there is, is it enforced? 

I doubt if any rule regarding churches in this city is enforced.

Second Pres./PDS school at Poplar and Goodlett for example, is allowed to stop traffic in all directions so that its students can arrive safely/ their influential parents don't have to wait in the traffic mess the school creates 

I have never noticed a child walking to this school, so why stop all the traffic?
