A year or so ago I realized that I had not received ANY mail -- even junk mail -- for about a week so I went to the post office on Erin Dr and was told that someone had completed a mail forwarding notice for me. They would not tell me where it was to forward since I had not completed the forwarding notice but advised me to contact the postal police. They would not even show me the form so I could see if I recognized the signature. I made some phone calls to the postal police (futile, I might add), but eventually I received some forms in the mail to complete to verify that I had not authorized the forwarding notice. I completed them, but I never heard anything about anything so all I could imagine was that someone was up to no good! I seriously doubt that any investigation was done on my behalf. I just don't leave any outgoing mail in my mailbox now and do my best not to have packages delivered to my home address but rather to my work address so I can receive them. I am not surprised that no one at the post office can find the problem with your mail. Surely, I am not the only one whose blood boils when I have to stand in line and watch the most inefficient work process going on, and I see this at most of the area post offices!
