Robbery Suspects Sought
4465 Poplar Avenue/ 4371 Quince Road

Incident #1004010633ME
On Monday, April 19, 2010, at approximately 8:40 pm, two victims were
walking from the Oak Court Mall, located at 4465 Poplar, to their
vehicle. The victims were approached by two male suspects who drove up
in an early 2000’s model silver minivan. One suspect exited the
vehicle and took one victim’s purse and wallet at knife point. The
suspects fled the scene in the van.

On Monday, April 19, 2010, at approximately 9:02 pm, a victim was
walking from Cooper’s Market, located at 4371 Quince, to her vehicle.
Two male suspects drove up in an early 2000’s model silver minivan,
possibly the same vehicle used in the aforementioned robbery. One
suspect, who was armed with a silver metal object, exited the vehicle
and demanded the victim’s belongings. The victim screamed and ran back
into Cooper’s Market. The suspect got back into the vehicle and fled
the scene in the van.
After the robberies the suspects attempted to use one of the victim’s
credit cards to withdraw money from an ATM machine at the Park Avenue
Food Mart, located at 3485 Park Avenue.
Suspect #1 is described as a male Black, early 20’s, 6’00” tall, 200
lbs, dark complexion, wearing a black hoodie, and a black bandana
covering his face.
Suspect #2 is described as a male Black, early 20’s, 5’11” tall, 150
lbs, wearing all dark clothing.
The vehicle used by the suspects, in both robberies, is described as
an early 2000’s model silver minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, with
driver’s side damage. The vehicle had a loud muffler and clicking
noise, possibly the lifters tapping.
