Well you could have a worse nickname. This definition of "ethical" is what I beleive in..

In no way, shape or form has BF EVER done this. We the residents of Countryside never would have found out about this stupid jail if someone from Westminster hasn't overheard a conversation. Point blank, they NEVER planned on telling us. I'm thoroughly convinced that no government official has any morals anymore and it is HIGH time for us to make sure things are done exactly by the book, no matter what!!

Threats really fire me up. I'm not the sort to run from them - au contrair.

We are pursuing action by a legal process that is our constitutional right. The Secretary of State made a statement to BF at the hearing (on the repeal Title wording) that they should stop and consider how they are spending their $ til this is resolved. That implies that they are RESPONSIBLE for considering all possibilities and making appropriate decisions about spending.

If they choose to spend like Santa Clause in December ... Knock yourselves out, Broomfield. But don't blame the rest of the world for your short sightedness. That is purely ridiculous.

And what's more - if our goal is so impossible to achieve (as they say) - why are they spending ANY $ trying to stop us. The only impact we could possibly have had on them so far is the 5 (count 'em, 5) attourneys they sent to the Sec. State Hearing(s). And I believe the petition they submitted for rehearing listed the law firm(s) as representing DeCero (the citizen) - not the city of Broomfield. (or maybe it was stoval - i don't remember) ....
But in any case - I suspect the city hasn't expended funds on this to date. Does anybody out there know any different? Maybe BBW?

After all, will CBLG (Citizens for Better Local Government, the group that promoted the County campaign) be held financially responsible to the citizens of Broomfied if Repeal is successful? Yea - Right (pfffff)

I haven't read the article yet, myself, but I know Cheryl to be accurate in relaying info.

Here's what we need to do. It is wrong for people in political power to threaten financial ruin to citizens pursuing a constitutional right. I say we fax that article to the Secretary of State RIGHT NOW !!! Does Donnitta feel that this kind of intimidation is acceptable - is it legal?
