Don't put words in my mouth. I am not attacking Adrian's integrity. I am attacking his manner of making linkages to reach some conclusion that support his preconceived notions. For example, if you were to say that a person lives in Denver, then you could conclude that the person lives in Colorado. However, if all you know is that a person lives in Colorado, it would be inappropriate to conclude that the person lives in Denver. There are many locations in Colorado where that person could live.
I believe Adrian's method of reasoning says that the person lives where Adrian says the person lives in Colorado. Based on what? You want to support that line of reasoning. Go ahead. It tells me that you must reason the same way: you will use whatever you can to support your preconceived notions and when that doesn't work, you will say your preconceived notions are right anyway - even if they fly in the face of hard facts.
I truly hope that hundreds of people view this board.

Thank you. I do not feel it is necessary for anyone to identify themselves; I am happy commuicating with the identities as they appear. We have participatants on both sides of the issue here. It is important to recognize that not everyone will agree with everthing someone writes; that is one of freedoms we enjoy. From my viewpoint I see the discussions beneficial to both sides; both learning something about the arguments that will be presented in the campaign.
This board is an opportunity to express opinions and discuss those opinions; BBW has been very cautious about being the first one calling names or making innuendos; personally, I find the conversations between he and a few others to be somewhat heated; but also beneficial.

To BWW more annexation

This was going to be my next question to you on annexations..We AGREE here! Broomfield is in what I call "A surround community"; similar to Northglenn, and with little room for expansion. That is why I was receptive to the notion that we would not be affected by the Poundstone amendment; but confused by the ability to continue to annex to the north; knowing that after the county was formed, the statement you posted would be effective.
I agree, the understanding of the annexation powers is confusing. I did talk to someone at the city; and they said that if an area is currently totally surrounded by incorporated BF, then it is most likely it will be forced annexation into BF when the county is formed. There are a couple areas in Adams like this; and one south of 120 near the grain elevators. However, if an area has an open boundary, such as pony estates, the option is available for them to stay out of incorporated BF; and the city has the option to annex. Is this your understanding?
