Still A Different Version Truth

Ms. White wrote:
Of course I did admit I told Lee to stop payment on the I.R.S. There should have been a stop payment on the B.P,Workman's Comp. and other tax checks supposedly written, but never received.

If a check was written to BP, Workman's Comp and tax checks they still COULD NOT be cashed by an individual. That money should have remained in the Village's account and when the account was balanced at the end of each month it should have been shown that those checks had not cleared. WHERE WAS THE OVERSIGHT?

Ms. White wrote:
Since the auditor stated that the police records were wrong or non-existent, how do you know what they took? Is that ok too?

Define took.

Ms. White wrote:
The resolution about a loan was brought to council. Did you forget, I stated that no one would give the Village a loan under any circumstances?

No, Ms. White it was NEVER brought BEFORE council for consideration. Yes it went TO Council, that is why you have a copy of the proposed resolution, but it was never voted on by Council. Whether a bank would give the Village a loan or not does not matter because As I stated it would have been illegal for the Village to get a loan for the purpose to pay the IRS.

Ms. White wrote:
I don't remember you stating in your oath of office that you were partly to blame. You weren't on council at the time. The oath is avowing that you will honestly work for the good of the people.

No, my Oath of Office accepted the responsibility to see that the bills were paid. No, I am not to blame for the IRS or PERS debt, but as a MEMBER OF COUNCIL I have the responsibility to work for the good of the people and see that the problems of the Village are solved and that is what I have done since taking a seat on Council. Unlike you and your friends I worked to help the Village not hurt the Village and do more damage.

Ms. White wrote:
My oath included the dis-honesty and fraud of EVERYONE. I un-covered it and it would not be right and legal to say, ''It happened but I was not on council at the time.'' That is a cop-out for people who don't want to make an enemy of Russolillo. I did and look what happened. I was threatened with arson and bodily harm.

I have been working to solve the problems of the Village and do not care if I offend anyone from the old administrations to get the problem solved in the best interests of the Village. You only uncovered the problem but failed to uncover the extend or provide an answer to the problem. You and the others made the problems facing the Village worse by your sham of a hearing against the chief and mismanagement of the problems facing the Village.

I would suggest that you file reports with the police Ms. White if you were threatened. No one has a right to threaten anyone. I do not condone that type of action by anyone.
Valleyview Didn't Suffer?

You would be quick to sue for your personal money.

The taxes and pension funds were withheld from employee's checks. Were did it go? The tax payer had to pay it again with money from the general fund.

Evidently the auditors didn't think it important enough to tell the attorney general. Or did Russolillo and the clerks fix the books? No wonder so many records were missing during the audits.

If the money was there, why did it bankrupt the Village to pay all the past due? There was bills for housing from the sheriff from 1998.

There is nothing to show for all the money supposedly spent on the streets and park. When a project was signed off on as being ''right'' by Russolillo and Pomeroy paid, why did they slip the things into later projects under camouflage? PAID TWICE for the same thing. That is why O.P.W.C sent the letter.

I complained about almost everything. You were on that council who knocked down everything. You wanted to do it your way. Cover for the people responsible.

If the I.R.S. AND PENSION FUNDS WERE THERE, and a check just had to be written, why pay Narcus to go to court and spend thousands more of the taxpayer's money and get just a portion of it back as you wanted to make a deal with Hunt and Cain? They needed to be sued and prosecuted for income tax evasion as any normal person if they did this.

You can try to justify this, but it is illegal by law. Council does not write the checks. You don't seem to realize, they only see what the mayor and clerk wants them to see. You have dishonest people working for years.

Look how fast Russolillo took off when a drug test was mentioned and it was found the bills, taxes and pension fund hadn't been paid. I promised him, ''If the loan to O.P.W.C wasn't paid I was going to the attorney general for his mis-use of public funds.''

These are illegal acts of tax payer money. I am sorry that you feel this is alright.

My ''Version'' always the Same

When the money was spent, I was not on council. It was spent from 1998 through 2001.

Watkins said I stole it. How could this be? You can't steal something that is not there. I didn't write the checks or have my hand in the till.

The act of bringing a typed ordinance or resolution before council is to CONSIDER it. I agree it was not voted on. But, Why waste council's time talking about if not for consideration?

You say I ''should have uncovered the extent of the corruption and solved the problem.''

I tried that. You were the strongest voice against it. YOU are the one who wanted to make a deal with Hunt and Cain. Even Narcus wanted to go after them and Russolillo. I know you will deny this but that is your right.

I don't deny anything I say. It can come back to bite you. Like supporting a man like Watkins.

FROM YOU? YES.

Ms. White wrote:
''You would be quick to sue for your personal money.''

Yes I would, but I also do the necessary oversight to watch my money as the Past Councils should have done with the resident's money. I'll ask again where was the oversight?

Ms. White wrote:
''The taxes and pension funds were withheld from employee's checks. Were did it go? The tax payer had to pay it again with money from the general fund.''

How can you pay AGAIN what was not paid once? What proof do you have that the money withheld for the taxes and pension were not used to pay the daily expenses of the Village such as police protection? While that is not correct, the residents would have benefited from that use. If the proper oversight had been done the problem would have been caught sooner and corrected. WHERE WAS THE OVERSIGHT REQUIRED BY LAW?

Ms. White wrote:
''Evidently the auditors didn't think it important enough to tell the attorney general. Or did Russolillo and the clerks fix the books? No wonder so many records were missing during the audits.''

That would be for the auditors to answer.

Ms. White wrote:
''If the money was there, why did it bankrupt the Village to pay all the past due? There was bills for housing from the sheriff from 1998.''

Because you and your friends ignored the problem and then went and spent money on a sham of a hearing and tried to pay your own attorney bills and collected every drop of money that you could from the Village. Instead of helping the Village you and the others made it worse.

The money you complain about the parks was $50,000 spent over 11 YEARS! An average of $4,500 a year. That would cover cost of a maintenance man, gas of the tractor and a host of other things that would not look like a NEW play set. You refuse to accept how the money could have been spent.
