Cat Over-Population

Steve needs a hobby.

Steve, like many other members of our happy community, has way to much free time.

I recently moved away from a condo complex in Westerville because of a few pain-in-the-ass busybody residents that get their panties in a bunch because of the most trivial of things.

I have yet to witness this cat infestation problem. I've seen like one cat near my yard and if it pooped or peed, I never noticed.

The whole reason I selected this neighborhood is because of all of the nice families, kids, PETS (like CATS and DOGS) and I would hate for a few ''sourpusses'' to ruin that.

If some residents don't like pets then they should sell their places and move. My assessment is that a majority of residents here have pets. Majority rules. I just don't trust anyone who doesn't like animals. It's just so un-american.

My advice to Steve and his ilk is this: Find a hobby.

Did the Gahanna lion have cubs?

I've never smelled overpowering stench from outdoor cats' waste material, but I bet a load of poo dropped by a 300 lb lion and his pride would sure be stinky.

Yes, Steve Does Has A Hobby!

Barry,

I am sorry for not responding to your post earlier - I thought this was a dead issue.

Yes - I have a hobby, actually I have several hobbies. And none of them include being a busy-body in the neighborhood.

The reason I got involved in this problem was that when I was president of the civic association several years ago, I was asked by the neighbors to do something about the problem.

As I mentioned above, I thought this was a dead issue and I am going to delete this entire thread after I get your response.

I am not a busy-body, I was just trying to be a good president and respond to the neighbors plea help. I have learned my lesson, however, you couldn't pay me to be president of this group.

I love animals. I have two cats and a dog. The cats stay indoors all of the time and I let the dog out to go to the bathroom in my back yard.

I have been involved with this civic association for over 15 years and believe that if we have a strong group then we can protect the investment in our property. I firmly believe that the civic associaton has done many good things over the years and we don't try to be busy-bodies.

So anyway, Barry, I hope this answers your question about my hobbies or lack thereof. That being said, I look forward to your response.
