I heard something about a change from the name Big Bear Farms to Liberty Crossing.

Has anyone else heard this?

I believe this only involves the shopping area. The Big Bear sign came down today at Giant Eagle.

I thought it had something to do with two silos with the Big Bear logos on them.

Maybe they ought to change the name of our division now that Big Bear is long gone......

Why change the name? This still was Big Bear Farms before it was developed. All of this land was a farm owned by the family that started Big Bear grocery stores. I think they should have kept the name of the shopping plaza as Big Bear.

Much the same would be the case if someone bought Muirfield golf course and changed the name to something else. Then wanted to change the name of the Muirfield subdivision.
